    Red face st clair

Got up to the lake today , not in good shape. The wind has it all murky and messed up. You have to go out to 18 feet to get clean water. For those of you that dont know the lake thats way out past the hump were the weeds start. Got three , with Sharon, but we only fished five hours. The wind picked up and its going to be strong the next two days. So I would not come up this week end, and very weedy. Take care, get a big one !

Got out today with 3 others. Lake was perfect this morning early but the wind did blow up around noon. Water temps in tight are 80 plus degrees. Fished 19' near the shipping channel and water temps were around 74. Water clarity is good there. That seemed to be the ticket. Went 6/7, bucktails took 4, the others on a Tuff Shad and a Woodie. Lost one in the 50" range . We had a real good look at her. She hit a down rod 9 feet back and cleared the water with the 1lb ball next to the boat. Didn't think we were going to need the net!
