salmon and kids

thanks to some AM intel from my morning recon team i took a break from the house remodel to get the kids out to hear some drags.

we went 6 for 10. and my 11 year old and my 6 year old landed all the fish.

I'd post a pic of the rack but my website is on the board and i'm sure it would get deleted. so here's a pic of my 11year old's bigest fish ever, took all my might not to grab the rod when it almost spooled him.

my 6 year old got his first salmon off a full core, by himself, and with out a single complaint about the 400 feet he reeled in..

now i'll never be able to go alone again... which isn't to bad
