Shadillac in Minnesota

Spent the weekend in west central Minnesota which is soon to be my new home. Fished on a smaller lake for the Minnesota opener and found that the Minnesota Muskies sure like the Shadillac. I had 6 or 7 follows saturday morning, 1 follow in the evening, 1 fish come flying out of the water to strike the bait on my figure eight(missed the bait), and then I finally stuck a 41"er at sunset. It's not a monster, but a great start to my season. I've never caught a fish opening weekend. So I am excited to see what the year will bring. Loving the bait!

Another Minnesota fish from the metro falls victim to the Shadillac!!! Had this fish follow once so we came back to her about 40 minutes later and she T-BONED the bait!!

A thick 45"er!
