Bass - We've been concentrating a lot recently on bass and have had some great results. Fish are now off of their beds and cruising nearby shelves/flats with spinnerbaits and crankbaits taking the majority of our fish. Twitching Rapalas/Rogues also getting fish to hit the surface. Have talked to other anglers who are contacting bigger fish jigging in the 8 - 12' range adjacent to spawning areas.
Muskies - Mixed reports right now. Lots of big fish being seen cruising but not chasing. I raised 2 small fish on Saturday afternoon twitching a minnowbait, other guys in the boat were throwing bucktails and didn't raise anything. Panfish - Starting to transition out of the shallows, still catching big gills off weed edges and sunken trees. Of note: We filmed a dogfish segment last week while targeting largemouths, got 2 big ones and will make for a very interesting show. Best of luck this week, stable weather looks to return with highs in the mid-70's with weather by the weekend should get the muskies going. JS
