    Default Lost & Found................

Yesterday I started my annual ritual of casting for northerns off the dock. Did get two follows. Thank you for asking. When I noticed something strange in the water exactly where Dick's boat sits. I snagged it with my rod tip, and low and behold, it was a musky rod.

If anyone wants to claim it, please provide me with the make, model, and serial numbers. If it is not claimed within 30 days, it's going on ebay. Half the proceeds will be spent on wine, women, and song. The other half will be spent away foolishly.

Can't be mine.I never have more than one rod/reel in my boat so would have noticed it if missing.

Wow! Do the crayfish all float near you, with all that cork inside them?

    Interesting question.

Who wants to be the first one to come up here and smell my left hand?
Just caught the first northern off the dock.

I recognize that rig, it is Sully's, easily identifiable by the 10 year old dry rot line. This line was rotten before it became bottom structure. That and he is the one of very few I know that would go to LOTW with a bent handled, grindy gear 5500. Sorry bud, had to try to reclaim your property.

I'm not sure who's it is, but my guess is Frank Aaron was involved in getting it into the merky depths.

Default Any Black/Nickle spiinnerbaits found there as well?

Was curious if there was a black/nickle Oestriech spinnerbait next to that rod. Seems to me somebody has mine - after it went missing at the dock about July of 2008 - and I've been trying to blame Tyler but it is not bearing any fruit. We tried blaming scarlet but she didn't come up with anything either that was black/Nickle.

No sign of that black/nickle spinnerbait yet?

Frank Aaron would never have anything this expensive and complex. But would be the ideal candidate to rid the boat of someone else's rig.

Most definitely in better condition that anything Sully owns.

I think the statute of limitations has expired on the Ace Tandem. Probably now looks closer to the president, than the shiny new nickle it was way back in 2008.

    Default not mine...

    surprisingly!

Thought it was more than a possibility considering the large amount of personal belongings that littered the bottom of the bay a few years back when I had some boat problems at your dock.

I say ya cut the rod a couple inches infront of the rod, and mount it on a board and utilize it as a floatign trophy that moved between cabins depending on who has the biggest fish...

    It truly is beautiful thing.
