does anyone know if the gate on the road to the hatchery ( directly across from 59 by the dam) is open during the daylite hours or is it closed in feb. ?

I would think it has to be open in order for folks to access the Handicapped fishing area immediately below the dam.

I was up there yesterday and the gate was closed and if you look in the paper it says if they are letting out more then so many feet per sec that it will be closed but i think they close it for the winter do to all the ice and dont want someone to end up sliding into the water but ill keep an eye on it for you

I think the normal cut-off for the Handicapped Access is 4 or 5000cfs but that could very well be for the warmer months.
