    Default 2010 Justin Donner Fisheree

    Hello Everyone
First of all I want to thank the Tiny Fisherman for posting our fisheree event and all the winners. This year was truly amazing my wife Jane and I got to Donner's Bay around 5:15 am to a greeting of -22 below zero. Our organization has always talked about cold weather and what it would do to our event. But the cold surely did'nt stop all of you. Then to top things off a transformer blew and we lost all power for a while. I am thinking what next, is Justin testing me. Thank god for Scott Tomek and Porky for the generators that they had to keep things going. All of you that had anything to do with the fisheree are truly awesome. Jane and I are so lucky to have such a great cast of friends and family. For you people in Mercer the next time you see Jody Scheels to her thanks for all of her efforts she was a big part of our event. When you don't know many people from that area it helps to have a special person like Jody. Just remember this is your event and all of you made it probably one of the biggest fisheree's in the area. I also want to commend all of the fisher men and woman who cooperated with the creel service people. They went out that day and counted people fishing that day and told me that there was 678 people that they counted. That tells me that the support that you all have had for this event is unbelievable. Finally Jane and I want to say THANK YOU one more time. We will have fisheree pictures on our website in a couple of days thanks to my sister-in-law Mel. Also a big thanks to Terry & Leslie Haney for taking such great pictures of our event. Please check out our website at jpdwarrior.com. God Bless all of You J.D.
