    Default Super D's?

I decided to decided to buy a few Super D's on eBay and just got them earlier this week. They look and feel like decent baits but I have not used them yet. Anyone have any input on them?? Durability??

    Thanks!

Last fall and winter that is all I used. I found they held up better than the 2008 Bulldawgs. They tend to sink faster and the harnesses still will tear at the tail. This year I have been using the new Pro Dawgs a lot. They are really tough. We've caught 8 fish on one and it is still working fine. They are worth trying. I've been meaning to write you about our October Georgian Bay trip. I ended up getting 6 muskie from 40"-45.5" seeing 3 others and losing one. All the fish were caught on Pro Dawgs. This was one of the most active trips we have had fishing this area but I never did see a real big fish. I finally got my replica hung so I'll post a pic tonight.

    Red,

I have used them but not alot, they are not a confidence bait and don't fish water that is generally deep enough to do so. That being said, I do like them better than bulldawgs because of the durability and the customer service! They are definitly something I need to get out and throw more but I have a heck of a time with either of them in less than 6 fow... I pretty much drege the bottom in that instance.

Hope the kiddo is doing ok, my 5 year old had swine flu last week and is doing much better now but for a few stressful days she was down and out. Scary stuff but doc said his kid had it too and just treat it like the normal flu but keep an eye open of the wheezing and such. Also high fever spike after the fever has been gone for 24 hrs +/- thats a big one and merits an immediate trip to the hospital I was told.

nothing against Musky Innovations, who makes some pretty good stuff...but watch the Youtube video of Mr. Tacklebooty with the SuperD side-by-side vs. the MI Bulldawg getting the snot beat of out of them.

I guess the new MI bulldawgs re-worked the harness in newer models, but this video was enough for me to buy SuperD's...plus they're cheaper. If anyone's interested in some, I crafted some inter-changeable single-blade Colorado spinner trailer harnesses that attach to the SuperD to mimic the Heli-Dawg too, which look good and thumpy in the water.

Do they make Super D's with a Colorado blade like the MI Heli-Dawg?

I do not think they do or at least I have not seen them. Maybe that is why Polish Pike decided to tweak his own version for half the price.........
