Water level & weather

Hi all,

Just curious. It seems to have been pretty wet up there lately. Is the water level coming up at all?

Also, how was the weather this past weekend. From the reports I saw, it looked like it might have been pretty brutal. Was anyone at all out fishing?

The DNR website lists the water level at 3.95 feet below full pool as of Oct. 26, 2009. This means it came up about .5 ft over the past 2-3 weeks. www.flambeauvista.com

I did some musky fishing over the weekend--Yes Friday was tough--Sat and Sunday better--managed to get 3 ---36 1/2 , 37, 39---Had 1 larger fish up near the boat on a sucker but gave him some slack line and he was gone--just didn't get a good hookset with the quick strike rig. But saw some guys who were catching walleyes and doing very good--also had some crappie--large--14 inchers. So weather was a little tough but the fish seemed to be biting so that always makes it better.
