Fishing Report for October 25

Thursday guided up on the St Louis river we trolled the day, it was cold and windy kinda sucked to be in. got two pike trolling and saw a guy what looked to be a good musky, but nothing in our boat.

Saturday, guided out on the chip all day client got a nice fat 44 1/2 on a bull dawg we had suckers get all figity 3 times but no fish ate them, really suprising, usually when they act like that they get eaten but not that day. water temp was 41.

I don't know what it's like down in Hayward, but the weather up here has been awful lately. I saw someone netting one in the river on thursday, near the hwy while I was driving past. ha!

Nice job on the 44 1/2.....client must have been thrilled
We managed a 37" muskie and a 23" walleye on Saturday
The muskie came on a prototype Curl-e Riser I have been working on.
The 'eye came on a chartreuse tiger grandma about 1/2 hour after sunset
Friday was absolutely a miserable day to be fishing....one of the worst ever for me!!!!
