there is a program out there, i dont know if anyone is invloved in this area, it is called "take a soldier fishing" I dont know if anyone is invloved with it up here, but it might be something to take a look at.

They arrange fishing trips with guides, some guides volunteer thier time and boat for it, some might be paid for by the program, the website is http://www.takeasoldierfishing.com/ give it a look, and thank your buddy for his service!

Had a great time a few years ago with Capt. Keith on the Walleye's Choice charter. Learned a lot, and caught a bunch of fish.
