Windy Day

I had the pleasure to share the boat with my old college professor today. Jim and I had a very tough and windy day fishing at Kinkaid. We trolled most of the day, but we had to wait till moon rise for Jim to catch his first muskie ever! A little chubby guy deep in the slop. Thanks Jim for talking about old times and hope your next one is even bigger! See you in November.

How did everyone else do. I know it was a tough day, but some boats I talked to had a ton of action. ???

Went out for a few hours on Thursday and moved some serious fish. Boated two, the biggest being a 44''. She was skinny, wouldn't mind catching her in the fall!!! Went out today...and it was a bust. Winnnnndy!!! I think if the trolling motor could speak there would have been some foul language. Didn't see a fish, I'm guessing the rain/wind followed by blue bird sky's might have messed things up a bit. But there is always tomorrow!
