Default If you were fishing this weekend...

... what species are you going to target and where are you going to fish?

Any reports of night trolling aroung Pine Point?

Good luck to those of you that are already up there. If you're around, find a Anderson's Resort boat with me and my dad and say hi! We'll be all around starting Wednesday p.m.!

    Default Fishing and Stuff

The perch are putting on the feed bag in the weedy shallows. Both ends of the Walker Narrows are holding perch. Small jigs and fathead minnows are the ticket. You will have to sort through some small fish but the jumbos are showing up. You will also catch a few bonus walleyes in the same area.

Walleyes are slowing down a bit, some days are better than others depending on weather, wind, etc... Jigs and minnows are now the best choice, some live bait rigs are still in play, tipped with crawlers or leeches if you can find them.

The west side of Goose is still a good area to check for walleyes. Walleyes are also using the shallow weeds especially cabbage. Walleyes love to munch on small perch, so you know where they will be.
