    Default Camping on the TFF

I will be camping on the TFF next week for the first time and have a few questions. What landing would be best to use coming from the south? Will it be possible to launch a 22ft pontoon or should I bring the 14ft boat? does anyone have a recomendation on what site or sites are best.

    Default landings

The landing on Flambeau Dam rd should work fine for you. Pontoon shouldn't be a problem but you may want to wear shorts if you need an assist. Come up from Butternut on F to Flambeau Dam rd and proceed to landing.

    Default

I used that landing this past weekend and there is plenty of water. I don't think you'll have an issue. In fact - there was a pontoon trailer parked in the lot when we pulled out on Sunday.

    Default That depends...

Depends on what you mean by coming from the south. Personally, I like Springstead landing when I'm coming from the Minocqua / Lac du Flambeau area.
