    Default muskies in the tomahawk area

    which lake in the tomahawk area would i have the best chance at nice musky?
    love to musky fish but whenever i go out i usually dont have much luck.
    any tips would be great, thanks!

    Start on Mohawksin, work you way up the river, look for weeds near the channel. Black & Orange bucktails or Topwater seems to work best for me. Reports show that Hellhounds are producing as well. Stop in Aquatic Arts, they have everything you need & there is a launch right across the street. Check out the daily report on the board as you walk in, it's a good way to get the latest & greatest, so you have some kind of strategy before you start fishing.

    There's a great spot just to the left of the launch about 1/4 mile up. Look for exposed stumps on the left, just before the river starts to turn right, that entire area always kicks out a muskie.

    There is also Lake Alice, but I don't know that lake very well.
