Default So I finally had a muskie go after a Pacemaker

I know these are great lures and have thrown them alot, but all I ever catch are dink pike on them. Then someone I know will use one of mine and have a musky blow it out of the water. Too funny.

So today I was throwing one and finally had a musky strike, then follow and strike again. No dice.

Move to the next spot and had one come flying out of the water cartwheeling behind it..probably a 42" or so. Pretty crazy.

What's funny is I thought I would slow it down and threw a Weagle back in that area and had a different (smaller 34"ish) fish come flying out of the water right next to the boat!

I was 0/4 today unless you count a tiny pike...and I had a lazy follow (38" or so). It was an awesome day, gotta love musky fishing.

    *not on the Chip btw.

Did you forget to take the rubber hook protectors off?

ha... I wish it were that simple. I'm 0/5 this year, lost a big one opening weekend, but that was my fault.
