This message from Don Hollatz........

Monona outing turned into more of a survival class than an outing. A huge cold front with 30mph winds kept many of us looking for shelter most of the day.We had 38 participants and only three muskys were caught with the largest being 20.75" fish caught by Rick Seeger. After consultation with the rules committee Rick was awarded first place while Geoff Crandall was awarded second with a 14 incher. I understand that Ricks fish was truly a fighter and it was touch and go for a while! Don H.

Rick and Geoff also were awarded hand crafted redwood and laminated baits made by Don H. These were truly a work of art! Thanks for the hard work, time and effort in putting this outing together the past several years Don!

Several Northerns and bass caught. Pat O'Leary and Cameron were they only brave soles who fished the downwind, east side of Waubesa, they had several follows but the wind blew them off any chance of doing a Figure 8!

Green Lantern Restaurant treated us very well again this year.
