Kay and I went out on "The Rock" for about three hours this afternoon. What a beautiful day to be on the water. Walleyes were active, although they were all shorties. Stopped in near the Buckhorn and found a nice mess of crappies. Looks like they are getting close to spawning. I think by mid week or next weekend the bite should be great. Full moon is around the 8th.
