Went out Sat. towards center reef but found lots of people out already. I guess we were a little late. Headed south and set up for walleyes. No hits but that wasn't the bad news, the keys got locked in the truck along with the cell phone. Ended up breaking the window and heading in for some duct tape, garbage bags, and bandaids. We thought about quitting but continued on. Around noon we headed back up north and found one spot just south of Garth Point. We sat and caught perch and ate hamburgers for awhile. Things were getting better. Then at 4:30 we had a flag. It turned out to be 31" and 11 pound walleye. After that we got some pike and right at dark the same tip-up went off. This one was 27" and 8.5 pound walleye. Along with the walleyes we ended the day with 7 pike caught, all too small, and about 70 perch with only 10 keepers, oh and one broken window!
