Kevin has donated a full day's guide service for an auction to raise money for Operation Muskie. this effort sends 20 veterans up to Lake of the Woods for 3 days of fishing with some of muskie fishing's best guides.

not only does Kevin serve the public in his "other" career as a teacher, but he's also willing to put his thanks into action by donating like this.

the auction will take place in late February or early March on MuskieFirst.

At quick glance, it looked like the guide trip earned the highest bid - way cool and says a lot.

Kevin's guide trip donation was combined with a donation from Duck Johnson.
that item was won by Stan Eilers, for $450. Stan is a great guy, and a couple days of guided fishing in northern MN should be a great time.
my guess is that you'll enjoy fishing with him, Kevin.

betweent the silent and live auctions, the overall amount raised for Operation Muskie was $17,500! this should fund almost all of the expenses involved in putting on the event this year.
