    Default October report

The past few weeks it's been up and down with the strange October weather.
Fishing has been good for the most part. Suckers have been the key along with slower moving twitchbaits and double 10's. 8 and 10 inch Slammers in perch, golden shiner and sucker patterns. Black/nickle silver and walleye colored Flashers and Cowgirls have been working as well.
Saturday (10-16) fished solo and got a 39 and fat 40 both on bigger suckers.
I used a new quick strike rig made by Shumway Tackle called a EZ Duz it rig. No more rubber bands, just a spring clip that attaches the rig thru the nostrils. A really nice and simple design sucker harness that works great.
