Do you remember that young pit bull that lived in the island with the border phone Frank? You thought it probably belonged to one of the Indians, but always took some food for it. Always wondered whether it would accidentally stow away on your boat and end up living with you.

Getting along famously I would say. Been a lot of payback for Kringle for her treatment of Scarlett 8 years ago.

20.6 pounds. Don't think she's as big as her litter mates. Think a female was I the low 20s a week or so ago, and saw a male at 29 pounds yesterday. However, can't be 100% sure as they had two litters that week.

She is a bean pole which is rare for one of my dogs....

Well, correction. Had to run the buzzsaw to the vet today and she clocked in at 24.6 pounds. Something must be off with my system.

Are you getting used to sitting on the floor now?

  17. #52

No. I have my own throne that Kringle never sits on. However Morgan occasionally blocks me from there.

Wow, what a great pic of them on the couch sleeping. As you know set your boundaries, otherwise you will be sitting on the floor.

Going to give up on the home weighing game. Just don't appear to be accurate. She's due back at the Vet Thursday. Get an update. Now I figure I better get some pictures where she's not styling on the furniture. Grabbed a few pics while we were on our "two-a-day" doggy walk this afternoon. One of these is Morgan playing Queen of the hill. One of Scarlett's favorites.

Spot on the spot as they say.... Tell me that Kringle has not found a warm spot in the sun to bake her bones. Actually they were both there, but Morgan bolted before a could get a pic.

Timmy, looks like your two are getting along better. Or just behaving for the picture. I fear you may be right with Morgan's size.

27.4 at the vet today. So turns out my readings have been good, and must have had my thumb on the scale with the last vet reading. Was 26 and change last Saturday, so shakes out.

You must be feeding her too well.
