Spent the day sorting out my trolling gear. Both my Headlocks have shiny new hooks after cutting the originals last fall to unhook big muskies. The superman Jake is ready to go. I can't wait for October. I hope it's cold.

Had a good week on Sabaskong Bay last week. Averaged 3 per day for the week. 8" Superman Jake was the ticket. It's worked well for me for 20 years. We tried lots of bigger Jakes, Kraves and Headlocks, but the little white Jake was the winner. I ordered a couple more from Rollie and Helen's this week. Water temps 45 to 46 and weird south east winds all week. One day of whitecaps and rain on Wednesday. Good week.
