TFF Update

With all the storm systems moving in and out have not made for the best fishing action. Saturdays crappie action fell way off as my 3 guests and I worked several cribs with assorted live bait and different types of Gulp and ended our morning trip with just 10 keepers. Monday and Tuesdays trips were cancelled due to strong winds and heavy rain. Wednesday was a turnaround in wind direction as NE winds moved in with on and off rain during the day and the action really took a dive. My 2 guests and I spent about half the day working deep river channels along with shallow weeds looking for walleye and ended up catching 4 with only 2 keepers on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads. The other half of the day was spent working the cribs with either small pieces of crawlers or Gulp and ended the day with just 1 keeper gill and 6 crappie, not a day to report on but that's fishing.

Busy 6 days coming up, will keep you posted.
