Last Friday Troy from Friendship and his cousin from Illinois booked a trip to learn some locations and presentation to use on "The Rock". Troy just relocated to the area and had never been on the lake. It was a tough bite to say the least. We started the morning jigging and soaking dead rods in four different locations along channel edges and on some humps. In 2 1/2 hours we only had one walleye and a few short hits. We put the boards and cranks in the water to finish out the trip and had 5 "shorties", 3 crappies, 1 white bass, and a sheepshead.

Today Art, Tim and Tim's son Tyler had a morning trip booked. Started on a mid-lake hump with jigs tipped with minnows and half a crawler. A lot of action but all "shorties" and goats and a lot of short hitter's. Trolled Shad Raps and Flicker Shads and ended with 11 "shorties", 4 crappies, and 2 sheepshead.

Keep a tight line!!!
