Thursday greeted my 2 guests and I with clear blue sky's and light and variable winds. Using Reeves weedless jigs and large fatheads, we started working a few weedy shorelines along with some wooded shorelines and came up with just 2 keeper eyes. We then spent a good deal of time working 14 to 16 foot depths where we had caught good eyes the day before and came up empty. Our next move proved to be very productive as we moved to 12 foot over a muddy bottom and came up with 7 beautiful eyes. Not one of these eyes were aggressive where one felt a good thump on the end of your line, just a little extra added weight that was holding on to your bait.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
