I was out on "Pete" this morning with Chad from Wisconsin Rapids, and Dennis from Pittsville. We worked jigs and soaked dead rods along the south buoy line to start the trip, then pulled planer boards and cranks for a while. A really tough bite this morning. Everyone I talked to at the ramp said the same thing , really slow with some "shorties" and I only heard of 1 "keeper" being caught. We had 1 18" "keeper", a hand full of "shorties", 1 northern, 1 small mouth bass, and 1 white bass. There is a big lake fly hatch happening on the south end so there is plenty of food in the system right now so I think that is why the bite is so slow. Water temperatures were in the upper 60's.

Keep a tight line!!!
