Larry from the LaCrosse area booked a morning trip on "Pete" for today. Larry usually fishes the "Big Muddy" but it is 12 feet over flood stage now, and he has never been on "Pete" or "The Rock" so he wanted to give one a try. We pulled Shad Raps and Flicker Shads all morning and ended with 22 "shorties", 5 in the slot from 22-27 inches, 6 crappies, 5 white bass, 9 cat, and 1 sheephead.
