Rodwrap's ramblings / post/pics. etc
Time can be an enemy
I posted last year! about this website's colors matching my boat, & I was gonna build a rod to match. That went well
But finally!!! I took some pics before the final epoxy finish cuz folks don't sometimes believe it's done with THREAD!
Also a couple pics of other rods, done for Red & a few of his clients............
my boat..

I added 14" to a 7 ft blank & painted the blank,rod is for bottom bouncing / walleyes. Since we go to Oneida Lake annually, I thought I'd do a 'fish' wrap, resembling the mighty sunfish of Oneida, bionic little smurfs (( If they grew to 24", you'd have to bring 'em behind the boat & shoot 'em like a Halibut !}}
the guide wraps:

The junk on the end ( thread & tape) will be removed, but, you can see the grip with inlays..
I'll post a pic when it's all cleaned up & epoxy is on.
Here's a rod I did for a Packers' fan..
And a Sta, Sta, Steelers rod for one of Red's clients..( what is WRONG with these people)?
And on of Red's rods..this IS a decal I did of his logo...
enuff till later..but I did finally figure photobucket's new technique out!

It looks like you have actually been doing some work for a change!

Hiya Red!
I have a dude ordered a St Croix surf blank for esox ...3SR100MF2. Blank will be here tomorrow...high boat, needs length to do figure 7 1/2s
He runs lighter line & lures than you do...we'll see how it works out....

I bet it will work out just fine.
