Just want to address a couple things,
1-- Keep a decent distance when running out and back from other boats. we saw another large boat come within 75ft of a smaller boat, while running at or near full throttle. I believe the boating handbook says 150ft.
2 Make sure everyone on board knows how to use the marine radio. Call in your emergency from the water, NOT the dock. Or call 911 on your cell. Get ASPIRIN in yor first aid kit, in case of heart attack, like one of our members had last week. He will be fine, but time was lost by not calling from the water.
