Now that the river has come up a little and is flowing again I figured I'd give it a shot. I started at free launch in the state park around 7:30 am & worked my way upriver to near the state line, worked the usual spots, deeper holes, channel mouths & bridge, had a lot of nice marks on the lowrance right where I expected to find fish but the bite was tough for me, worked jig/gulp combo's, dragged 3-ways, and threw bright cranks, only picked up 4 white bass & a drum and was off the water by noon. Fishing should start picking up good here with some stable weather.
