    Default Wisconsin Musky Opener

Headed back to familiar haunts on Sunday and fished the day with my step son Kyle and my good friend, Garth Darton. We caught two muskies, including this dandy forty-eight incher. I lost another nice one around forty-two inches. Kyle boated his first ever musky too which was a real thrill! We had cool weather with variable winds and light rain, and I think if we'd have had warmer weather, we would have done a lot better. Kyle also caught some real nice bass to boot. Good start to the season for me, and looking forward to the MN opener next week!

PS: I broke in my new T's Tackle bump board this weekend. What a great product that is durable and easy to use, not to mention safe for the fish.
