Just when you think that Mille Lacs bass fishing is turning the corner for the better, the bottom fell out today!
Last Saturday fishing was picking up with water temps rising to 75-76 degrees and water clearity improving. Then yesterday, two cold fronts within 24 hours, strong west/north west winds, air temps dropping to the 50's and surface h20 temps diving to 66-67 degrees. Fished today and found conditions very tough...winds prevented fishing south and east side. Launched at Garrison and fished several reefs but winds made it very difficult to get anything consistant going. These up and down weather patterns have got me and the fish confused!
