September 16th and 17th fishing report

I think I need to change my hat. I'm going back to my old black and white Sennett Tackle hat for better luck today. I had trips the last two days but nothing to show but a few follows. The guys yesterday fished really hard but only one follow on a Cowgirl. It looked to be a nice fish but turned off five feet behind the bait.

Hopefully a different colored hat is all it takes.

Water temps are starting to go down. Yesterday they were in the mid sixties.

Funny, I do that hat thing all the time too. It seems to help me out. Also, sometimes I have to wash the "skunk" out of em, and other times I don't dare wash em. Can't risk losing the mojo.
