    Default Panfish fishing on flowage now??

    Hey Ty,
    Is it true you can fish for panfish on the flowage at this time? I always thought it was closed until opener May 5 (this year)?

    It is legal to fish panfish right now, no walleye or pike until May Opener.

    Totally legal. Good time to get some numbers of crappie. A few sunny days is all it takes to move them shallow.
