    Default Sunday Night

My son and I went back to our old spot and got into some nice fish. First 3 were all keepers and then lost a keeper in the hole and had 2 smalls to throw back. Hope the shore holds out for the last weekend. Nick caught the 16 inch and the 26 inch. I had the 20 inch when he was outside fishing by himself. I am sure he is hooked for life. He caught 3 fish this year over 24 inches this ice.

What depth of water were you fishing in. I tried deep and shallow at different times throughout the day yesterday and only caught some dink perch and walleyes. I've been pretty frustrated up here this year and I'm coming back up for sat, sun & monday to take another beating. I don't need GPS coordinates...just looking for a general area or depth of water.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all the helpful hints this season and it was a joy to meet you out on the ice. I hope you and your son have a wonderful end of the season fishing good luck and be safe on that last ice.

Thanks for the no BS response. It's nice to get some info from someone else that isn't afraid to tell me like it is. My philosophy has always been that I can tell your where, what, how, & when and it doesn't mean your going to catch fish. Too many other variables out of your control. I'll be sure to enter your info into my mental computer for formulating the "master" plan for next weekend.

    Thanks again

Hey, when you sent me that picture you didn’t tell me that fish was 26 inches. Nice job man! Is that Nick’s biggest walleye so far? Also, I guess that is just your hot spot. It’s so funny that as soon as you go back there you catch fish, and big ones too. Something about you and the “big fish spot” that I dragged you to just didn’t work together very well I guess. I bet you’re glad you ditched that so-called “big fish spot” that I showed you and went back to your good spot. I guess that is the last time you’ll listen to me when I talk about a hot spot somewhere else. Good job once again. Congrats!

    Talking Big fish Spot

No big deal on dragging us up there. I caught that tagged fish so it was worth it for that alone. Now I hope to have 1 more run at some eaters. Have to restock the freezer. Gave away 25 eyes in the last week or two so back at it one last time this year. Hope the shore holds with the rain on the way.
