53 inch Hybrid

Hey guys, there was a 53 inch Hybrid caught Tuesday night off of Pete's by a guy staying at Indian Trail Resort. It is listed on there musky chart and I have heard a few other guys talking about it on a different forum. Does anyone know more specifics about it? That is a LARGE tiger!!

53x21 on Pete's bar. 25lb mono line, super old small net, on a Cisco Kid Topper.

I've seen the pics. Here's where it gets iffy, big guy, small girth fish..hard to tell the real size on it. They only had a 40" ruler so they measured it with rope and tied a knot at the end of the fish.

Maybe, maybe not. Nice fish, the guy was shaking like a leaf when he came in.

If that's true it would put the fish weight around 30 pounds or so. Seems like a pretty skinny fish to me with that length. Even if it's skinny it's still a bigger fish than I have ever caught and a trophy fish either way. Would love to see some pics of that fish.

Going to lock this one because it's going to get ugly. That is a nice fish but there is no way to say it is a 53 inch fish by measuring it that way. Congrats to the guy for a nice fish.
