Default Too soon for summer spots?

Are we in the transition to more of a summer pattern yet, or are we still waiting for the water temps and weed growth to pick up?

I hit some back bay spots today and only moved pike and sm bass.

    Jason,

This year in Duluth, it has not helped we have had winds off Lake superior almost every darn day, the water cannot warm up fast this way, But keep looking for that early cabbage growth. There are many spots all over that have early season cabbage growing up on them already. Also focus on finding warm water, my success usually comes from the warmer water, fish wind blown shorelines, mouths of back water bays, etc....But with summer ramping up be looking for those usually summer spots to start turning on and holding fish.

Default starting to hit summer spots

I agree I have been hitting my summer spots and starting to find some fish. Dusty and I were out today and I got a 48.25 about 8:00 this morning in a simmer spot that we fish.
