Golden Roaches

What is the best way to keep golden roaches alive?

I guess my first question would be, what do you call golden roaches? My second is where do you get them? And my third is, if you have a problem trying to keep them alive, why are you using them?

Golden Roaches are what we call Golden Shiners here... A large shiner, but not as big as common suckers. Kind of triangular looking sometimes. Supposed to be great Muskie bait!! I will be getting a few next week. They are usually not kept much longer then any other large minnow, but last longer with airetion(Spell check!!) and a bit of space...How you keep them depends on how long you want to and how many you have.

I guess I did not have my coffee yet in previous reply...I understand they like cooler water, and not a normal warm weather minnow..
