    Default Late August visit

    I will be renting a cabin on Lake Petenwell last weekend in August right near the county park. Wondering if anyone could tell me 2 things:

    Do you know where we might be able to rent a pontoon boat for a half day?
    Any idea of how/if the fish bite generally is this time of year? Really not particular in what we catch. More quantity over quality.

    you can rent a pontoon @ THE LURE just north of the county campground on the east side. can't tell you how the fishing is tho. the fishing is lousy on castle rock!
