This Weekend
Hey guys,
Was out on Sunday for a few hours what a great day. A little busy with the weekend boat traffic, but still got some fishing in. Went upriver first to the Petenwell dam. jigged with night crawlers( we did not have minnows as we forgot to bring the bucket with). Not a lot of action a lot of short hits. The guy I was with laid into something big!!! I do not know what it was as we never got a chance to see it, but it dragged to boat around for about 45 minutes before it broke off, but fun to watch. I wish we could have got a look at it. After that we went back to the lake. trolled with orange and yellow mr twister with a spinner blade in front of the State Park and picked up a mixed bag. Lots of white bass, a couple of nice keeper walleye ( although we did not keep them) and a few nice crappie. All in all a good day out on the lake. Back up next weekend will post then.
