    Default detroit river fishing report

went to Detroit River and fished friday and had 5 follows of musky's and had no hook ups. then on saturday we went out and had 6-7 follows from muskys well over 40 and had a couple on and Arron caught a 38incher and then later that day i caught a 30incher, and today I caught a 45incher and had a lot of follows and my son and I saw a musky that was cruising the bottom that must have been 50-52 i mean it was a monster we through at it and the area for like an hour and came up with no 50...but all in all it was a great trip, and now we know what its like to get follows because we never get them at Caesars creek. And you got to love the color of the fish way better then the pale fish here.

    first fish-45 incher
    second-30 incher

    Default Help with Detroit River

    Hey musky-god...
Sounds like you had a great trip to the Detroit River...I've been wanting to try there as well. I am looking for some help with lodging and ramps to use on the river. I've never been there before, but fish a lot of inland Michigan Lakes. Also did you need an Ontario license as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated...THANK YOU!!!

    Default boat ramps

Boat ramps are hard to find.We stayed at the Red Roof Inn,31800 Little Mac Rd Roseville MI 48066 1-800-733-7663 $54.99 a night. It,s about 20 min from the Boat ramp. The boat ramp is off St Jean, we used a tom tom to get around and it's a must have! You will get lost. The boat ramp is across from the yaht club.

If you have a hot spot map it has all the ramps on the map. On the back some have phone number so you can call and see what the rate is. Some of the ramps are private but you can get a pass for around 25 for the year. The closer to downtown Detroit you get the less safe some of the ramps are.
