Default Pictures Updated 6/14 -June Walleye Fishing Report 6/13/2009

It has been an excellent week of fishing. Some days you have to put in a full day, but at the end of the day we have been ending up with our limits. We are fishing the West Bend area and White River to Elm Creek.

Here is my weekend fishing. On Thursday (my group from Sioux Center and Orange City, IA) we went and fished the Elm Creek and Boyers area. We caught over 80 fish and had our limit at 2:30 p.m. On Friday we fished the same area and caught over 125 fish, what a day, had our limit by 1:00 p.m. On Sat we went and fished on Lake Sharpe for smallmouth bass until 12:30p.m. We caught 80 smallmouth with 18 keepers. The best fishing trip this group has been on. The guys that could not make the trip will be wishing they would have come. On a 3 day trip we caught between 280 and 300 fish.

The fishing has been getting better as the weather stables out. The fish on Francis Case have been from 10 - 20 feet. The fish on Lake Sharpe are either in 8 - 15 feet or 25 to 40 feet. Hopefully with stable weather the fish will move up. As always the smallmouth fishing this time of year is excellent on Lake Sharpe.

    Look forward to seeing you
