Muskie Fishing this past week

Mr. Murphy,

How has the muskie action been this past week? I am coming up tomorrow for two weeks staying at Woodland Resort, and was wondering how its been going. Last year my daughter and I caught a 48 inch (me) and 52 inch (daughter) muskie on Kab. Bay. I think my 10 year old daughter is hooked since she has talked about that fish the whole year. Now all she wants to do is fish muskies.

Mr. Murphy, I want to thank you for all your posts, it is nice to see someone who is honest, gives advice and is a guide on top of it all. Good luck to you this year.

Wow what a trip you had last year, hope you can repeat the success. The water is approaching 60 degrees and the fish are still a bit lethargic. We moved 3 fish the other day, one was pushing the 50 inch range, all came up on small buck-tails, actually the new Baby Girls by Mayhem tackle.

Look for the fish to become more active with the warming water.
