Default Fishing Report for June 11

Sorry I haven't posted a report in a while. Tuesday morning, guided out on the chip, saw two muskies one a mid 30 inch and the other my client lost at the boat, was in the mid to upper 40 inch range, both fish came on 6 inch slammers in perch. tuesday afternoon, guided out on spider chain. saw 5 muskies biggest was about 38, and caught one short one on a monster spoon, the other fish followed a swimbait and a glider.

Wednesday, tried filming on the St. Louis river for the upcoming musky fishing rivers DVD, right away in the morning had a really nice mid 40 inch fish try to eat an 8-inch slammer at the boat twice, and never got hooks into it. that was the only fish we saw all day, the fish came from shallow weeds.

Thursday, again filmed on the St. Louis river, another tough day, got a really nice walleye on a suick, had a short musky follow a suick, all on shallow sand today.

sorry not much to report, post any reports that you might have.

    good luck,

Hey Tanner, was that you that waved to me (red hat, blue lund) on the river today?

I had 2 follows, one was a decent fish, and a strike on a chopper..I think I blew that one, set the hook too early..ha!

That neckdown area I was fishing at the 2nd spot I saw you at has been good to me this year...I lost a pig there on the opener.

I had a strike, follow, and caught a 31" today. Those 2 other fish were a lot nicer but what can you do.. Still in the slop weeds and sand.

Water temps are finally coming up. 66-68.
