    Default Thank you

Thanks for the compliment on the website. I'm still working on adding some fish pictures from last year, more cabin photos and some other links of interest people might find useful so check it out once in awhile and see how many typos I've made since the last visit. HA!

We have the big muskies on the run up here so come on up help us get the cornered. The trick is trying to find time for a poker game that doesn't interfere with muskie fishing. I think the fall is better for that since we don't troll much after dark, but then we're ready for bed after something to eat and a beverage so that doesn't work either.

You having any good weather where you are? They are still saying Friday for some good stuff up here. I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE!

Talking It's good Walleye weather, eh?

Could be worse. Could be getting the winds like we got last year. How soon they forget. I remember one weekend in July that I only got out for two hours on the day I arrived, after driving all day. The next two days we sat in the cabin, after attempting to go out once and coming back with my tail between my legs and Justin knows I don't scare easilly on the water. I think we finally got out on day three. However, after the first two days, I needed to sign up with AA and Gamblers Anonymous. Man, I hate going to meetings.

    Default Meetings!

    Hey Eastie,

Was that rough weekend last year in July? If so, then yes, how soon we forget.

If you want to avoid those meetings next time it gets windy, I can come and confiscate jugs and bring a few board games from our selection of family friendly offerings we keep in the office. HA!! I'll return the jugs when the wind gets down below 15 knots.

Oh, by the way..I actually found YOUR (name and all) dock bumpers hanging on a different wall in the garage on Friday night. You can bring those other ones back and we'll exchange them for free, eh.

    Wink

Confiscate jugs? Now that's not very family friendly. The cleanlines of your cabins and resort property are what family fiendly is all about. Not confiscating man's perfectly good libation.

Anyway, I won't need any sort of plaque at the resort when I pass, 50 years from now. I'm sure that I'll have something left behind up at Mylie's. I think it is a deeply rooted cry for more time on Sabaskong Bay.

    Default voluntary program

The confiscation program wouldn't be cloak and dagger by any means. I think it would have to be like those programs at the casino where your put yourself on the list and ask them not to let you in if they see you coming.

You would just register your cabin number for the program and then I would come over when the wind got over 20 knots. Then we would have a little chat "Dog the Bounty Hunter" style and you could come and bail your jugs out when the wind goes down.

I think it might really have a chance to do some good, especially this year with the store in Morson shut down and the long trip to Rainy River to reload. HA!

We all need more time on Sabaskong Bay, Eastie. I'll toast to that. When the wind is below 15 knots, of course!
