Right know Lake Erie fishing is the best I've seen in a long time, walleye limit catches(huge weights)per trip, smallmouth bass are also plentiful, white bass you can fill the boat, and perch are also showing up in some choice spots. All in all the lake is very good. Commercial perch netting has came to a halt in the western basin and hopefully this will transform into large perch and limit catches in our local area's. White bass can be taken on Crib reef, toosaint reef, and locust point reef, using white curly tail jigs with chartruese lead heads, tie 2 on line @ 14" apart catch 2 at a time. Walleye fishing has been real good NW of West Sister Island and the C-can to the Kidney shaped reef west of North Bass. If you haven't fished Lake Erie in a while now is the time to come, take advantage of our July thru December special $490.00 per trip and get up here soon.
