Chip trip

Hey Tanner,
Heading up to the Chip the 11th -13th, was wondering what you suggest to through this time of year. Hoping your advise will lead to another trophy!

for fishing on the chip when you will be up, fish the shallow weeds, anywhere in the lake, the fun thing about that time of the year, is the muskies should be using the new weeds everywhere, in bays, main lake. to baits are slammer minnow baits, I like the 6 inch that time of the year, Rabid squirrel tails, chart/chart. is one of my favorite colors that time of the year, and topwaters, I like a stomper or chopper, and maybe a creeper like a lil creeper, all do well that time of the year. if you get into an area with thicker weeds try throwing a suick or bobbie bait. Hope this helps you out!
