Thread: Walleye and Bass "Hot"

  1. Thumbs up Walleye and Bass "Hot"

I've been on the water a lot the last few weeks. Most days the fish catching has been fantastic with both big fish and limits. Because a few of my clients want to fish walleyes. I have been doing trips on Lake Wisconsin near Wisconsin Dells. This has lake been a consistant lake with a good chance of numbers of keeper sized walleye. We have been doing well and have had many fish between 20-27 inches that had to be let go.

On the Madison Chain the panfishing has been fantastic as the bluegills are moving around the shallows. Limit catches have been caught with good numbers of 9" crappies added in. We also have been doing well while bass fishing the chain when I've focused on them 10-20 fish on the last few trips. They have been near the shallows and chasing the smaller gill's on Mendota, Monona, Waubesa lakes.
The walleyes have been relating to rocks and outside weededges.
I've got to be on the water will post more information and some photos soon!!
Hope to see you on the water.
