Some King Salmon were caught on Monday so they are starting to bite. It won't be long and we will be bagging a bunch of them.

Walleyes are still bitting even though the weather keeps changing and the water isn't warming up very fast. I used crawlers on Sunday afternoon and did very good. Had a hard time getting out four boards to start with and then things got more sensible as the wind died down. Running bottom bouncers 1 1/2oz. back about 25ft. off the board at 1.5 mph.

Some Bass are on the beds but the bay and Lake Mich. water still have a ways to go to really get things hopping.
